Job Function - Work in cross-function with SW team to help develop the drivers for peripheral components, help test the drivers and integrate the drivers into Qualcomms driver library.
- Working with cross team in Qualcomm to set up the test lab, plan and scripts, validate those components by developing/tuning/executing testing plan/scripts.
- Close talking with China and oversee memory/Camera/LCD vendors, fully understand their roadmap, and talking with Qualcomm cross team on how to fit their product to Qualcomm chipset.
- Support customer design with Qualcomm chipset by using above validated components.
- Work with team to review customer's schematic/layout.
- Domestic travel is required.
Skills/Experience - Strong knowledge of digital baseband, especially in memory/camera/display and other peripheral components.
- Very good understanding of ARM9/11 architectures and high speed memory bus, familiar with signal integrity/timing analysis and JTAG/ETM debugger for ARM
- Experience in CDMA/WCDMA/GSM mobile device hardware design, both in schematics and PCB layout.
- Familiar with CAD tool such as OrCAD, Allegro, PowerPCB
- Experience of Qualcomm chipset design is preferred
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) in both Chinese and English
- Minimum 3 years experience on mobile device HW design
