Job Description and Qualifications Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. (NYSE:APD), a Fortune 500 manufacturer of industrial gases and chemicals, has an IMMEDIATE OPENING for an experienced Truck Driver/Warehouse Tech at its Marlborough, MA facility.

This position works Monday through Friday, day shift. Emergency and weekend deliveries are required on occasion. Potential does exist for future off hour and weekend shifts.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position involves warehouse/inventory management work and customer deliveries and transfers. The Driver is responsible for receipt, inventory, delivering, and empty return of gas cylinders and chemical containers to our local customers. Occassional transfer runs to near by states may be required.

Additional on site duties require filling operations, cylinder preparations, analytical measurements and computer operation. Operation utilizes computer based SAP inventory management system.

Driver will work with Transportation Planners to set up and schedule deliveries to customers and warehouses.

Position requires operation and daily maintenance of the following equipment: tandem axle tractor/trailer rigs of varying lengths, refrigerated trailers, one ton truck and forklift truck and dock leveler, as well as on site filling equipment.

Driver must maintain DOT and company required driving and equipment records and retain and file inventory management records.

QUALIFICATIONS:
-3 years of recent driving experience driving tandem axle tractor/trailer rigs
-Class A CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements
-Clean driving record
-HS Diploma or GED
-Working knowledge and understanding of Hazmat regulations
-Good computer knowledge and skills
-Ability to work independently with little supervision
-Attention to detail
