Position Description
Position Summary

The Manager - Affinity Marketing will support Vice President – Affinity Marketing with the day-to-day Manchester United (MU) program activities. Key support responsibilities are as follows:

Key Responsibilities

Assist with daily/weekly/monthly contact with and support of global partners
Ensure partner adherence to contractual policies and procedures. Examples include (non-exhaustive list):
Campaign development and execution within MU Brand Guidelines and documentation of required approvals
Financial tracking such as invoice and commission payment processing
Regular MIS reporting
Complaint reporting
MU Data Principles including monthly submission of partner data to MU
Rewards management such as distribution and use of signed memorabilia, match tickets, merchandise, etc and coordination of external partner benefits (e.g. Megastore discounts)
Support campaign monitoring and analysis including production of campaign review materials
Work with Vice President - Affinity Marketing in creating marketing strategies that achieve greater AIG profits through effective marketing of MU branded products
Understand partner goals/objectives and translate into actionable solutions

Position Requirements
Skills Required

Minimum of 1-3 years in financial services, preferably payment cards related, with affinity marketing experience
Strong Client Management and Project Management skills
Multinational experience a plus; strong written and verbal English communication skills
Willingness to hold evening conference calls with Asia partners (e.g. after 9pm eastern time)
Proficient in Microsoft Office toolkit i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Bachelor degree required
Strong work ethic and self-driven
