Position Description
A Staff Auditor performs the testing on financial, operational and compliance audits of various AIG entities and member companies.

A Staff Auditor:
• Demonstrates a foundational knowledge of relevant industry, accounting, operational and/or technology/infrastructure knowledge with emphasis on understanding the relevance of SOX and AML principles.
• Understands, identifies and evaluates key risks and controls.
• Executes audits and investigations with moderate supervision.
• Documents work performed and conclusions reached in accordance with IAD’s Global Audit Methodology.
• Drafts high-level findings/narratives that require minimal editing and provides a clear message and suggestion for corrective action.
• Establishes effective working relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Communicates effectively, both verbally and in writing to promote clarity and understanding.
• Consistently meets deadlines.
• Holds self accountable for the success of the team.

Position Requirements
Applicants must have at least 1-3 years of relevant auditing experience; Bachelor’s degree preferably in Accounting. In addition, insurance industry knowledge, and/or certification, such as CPA/CIA/CFSA/CISA/CFE, are a plus.
