Position Description
Prepare various Investment Accounting partnership & derivatives reports under GAAP and Statutory requirements. This person will be responsible for the accounting of invested assets investments for multiple companies. Industry experience is a plus but not required.
• Prepare management reports on a monthly, quarterly, annual basis. Statutory annual statement, internal reports (SI package), and GAAP monthly earnings analysis.
• Reconcile monthly entries between investment portfolio accounting system (Investram and PAM) and GL system (SAP)
• Reconcile all investment related accounts in SAP to subsidiary systems. This includes clearing items and aging items.
• Other special projects as may be assigned

Position Requirements
Big 4 CPA background and strong GAAP Accounting skills.
PC literate with strong Excel skills, especially managing data with Excel. Knowledge of SAP, MS Access helpful but not required. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Must be able to work under tight deadlines in a fast paced environment. Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Work experience:
Senior level position. 3-6 years experience in investment accounting, preferably in the financial/insurance industry. CPA and Big 4 experience required. Partnership and deriviative experience would be a plus.
