Position Description
Assist Supervisor of team of STD or LTD Case managers who are responsible for a caseload of claims which includes reviewing, investigating and assisting in making liability determinations on disability claims. Responsible to ensure time around time standards and office quality standards are met and appropriate management plans are in place. Provide immediate mentoring and feedback to staff, address claimant-level service issues with both claimants and local employer representatives. Assist Claims Supervisor in addressing larger workflow, procedural and team goals within a unit.

Position Requirements
At least 3 years of previous claim experience in a disablity claim management setting. Bachelor Degree preferred. Demonstrated flexibility. Excellent math and analytical skills. Solid computer skills using Microsoft Windows products and the internet required. Must have good kepboarding skills. Must be proactive, resourceful and diplomatic with strong communication skilss and the ability to succeed in a team environment. Must be organized and able to communicate clearly and effectively with others. Excellent written skills.
