Position Description
A professional responsible for proactively managing an assigned in-force book of business negotiating renewals, presenting financial settlements, and managing the overall client and broker relationship. The goal is to cultivate long term relationships by meeting client and broker relationship. The goal is to cultivate long term relationships by meeting client/broker needs while implementing strategies to profitably renew and grow business.
• Ensure effective client services administration and issue resolution in conjunction with the Atlas functional teams (u/w, eligibility, premium claims, etc.)
• Develops, recommends and helps implement renewal strategies to profitably renew and grow business
• Active participation at pre-sale meetings and finalist presentations to communicate the Atlas Expatriate benefits Account Management philosophy
• Effectively manage the implementation of new sold cases and additional lines of coverage sold to existing accounts
• Identify and develop credible referral opportunities; partner with Sales Directors and Regional Sales Manager by providing producer/customer data and insight to improve sales and success rate
• Effective renewal coordination, evaluation, and presentation
• Develop and implement case-specific proactive account management plans for top clients and/or brokers and an overall management plan for assigned book of business.
• Adheres to established client visit expectations
• Maintains effective relationships with producers, clients, and key business partners ensuring appropriate balance between organization, customer and producer needs, expectations and objectives
This position is located in Wilmington, Delaware. Relocation will be handled on a case by case basis
Position Requirements
• 4 year college degree required or equivalent experience required
• Account Management or Underwriting experience preferred
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities independently and simultaneously
• Results oriented and driven to achieve objectives
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Customer focused
• Licensed Life and Health producer preferred
• Travel is required at a minimum of 20%
