Position Description
• Responsible for division wide Sarbox Reviewing, spreadsheet controller, and error remediator.
• Review all Sarbox Controls, enhance process, and respond to management testing.
• Review all spreadsheets for conformity to standards and assist in the remediation/elimination of the same.
• Lead error list remediation; assist in systems solutions to minimize error lists.
• Conduct review of all estimation processes.

This position is located in Wilmington, Delaware. Relocation will be considered on a case by case basis.

Position Requirements
• College graduate - Experienced FSA with a minimum of 5 years experience. High level experience with spreadsheets and organizational skills. Heavy background in accounting desired with a solid level of system language preferable.
• 5 years relevant experience in life insurance valuation and financial reporting.

The individual should be detail oriented and enjoy hands on technical work. Able to work independently. Able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with actuaries and non-actuaries. Able to communicate and interact effectively with field staff on a regular basis. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products such as Excel and Word. Experience with SAS a plus. General knowledge of actuarial techniques and professional requirements associated with financial reporting. Knowledge of US statutory reporting is required. Ability to engage in various projects while meeting time constraints and maintaining corporate and professional standards.
