Position Description
We have an opening for a District Manager in our Southwest Texas District, effective immediately. The position will be located in Austin, TX.

The Southwest Texas District demographics are:

• AUM of $929MM.
• 17,000 existing clients.
• Outstanding growth potential

Job responsibilities associated with the District Manager position include:

• Motivate and Lead Financial Advisors
• Recruit, select and train all new field advisors
• Supervise Financial Advisors
• Sell, coach and assist with ongoing advisor development
• Embrace and promote company initiatives
• Facilitate the sales of all products offered by VALIC
• Maintain current groups and increase participation levels
• Address and solve business-related challenges as needed
• Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Senior Regional Vice President or Regional Director
