Position Description
Responsible for analyzing and interpreting data, formulating reports, and making recommendations based upon the research findings. The Marketing Analyst applies qualitative and quantitative techniques to interpret the data and produce substantiated recommendations. This position requires strong analytical and statistical skills as well as presentation skills to apply/present the findings and recommendations to senior management. Responsibilities include:

« Analysis of internal database and external market data in order to guide and improve marketing initiatives, media selection and promotional programs performance (i.e., definition of target markets for promotional mailings, database appends, industry trend analyses, website performance metrics etc.).

« Application of analytical and research findings to improve the organization in all areas (Marketing, sales, operational, etc.)

« Ad hoc database requests & analysis for management decision making

« Management of primary research projects (experience in Design and implementation of primary research a plus) and analysis and interpretation of primary and secondary market research when requested. Translation of findings into presentation formats.

« Acquisition of secondary research, to drive strategic insights regarding: consumer attitudes & behavior, advertising, competition, and other factors as requested. Ownership and Management of information database/library

« Design and development of canned reports through a reporting tool such as Crystal.

« Ability to plan and coordinate research initiatives like Usability Tests and Multivariate tests on the Website.



Skills/ Requirements
Advanced Excel, Bachelor's degree, 5 years experience, Crystal Reports helpful, Excellent Communication and Presentation skills, SPSS
