Position Description
• Manage delivery of FDM and HFM solutions including network, hardware, systems software, integration and applications software through directly-controlled resources, other Alico departments and external partners
• Direct project activities, issues and resources including direct execution of selected tasks. Ensure project meets established time, quality, and cost parameters and complies with Alico’s SDLC methodology. Report progress to I/T and end user management.
• Work with accounting department users to define technology requirements for new financial consolidation and reporting systems.
• Lead system architecture, design and implementation planning for Corporate Financial Management solution. Advise finance department on technical alternatives, including business implications. Collaborate with external advisors on recommendations
• Manage selection, purchase and installation of hardware and software to support new systems. Coordinate with infrastructure, vendor management, and I/T security departments for execution.
• Define implementation and support model. Hire and manage developers and systems analysts to implement and support software vendors to manage patches, fixes and upgrades. Design help desk process nd procedures for global support.
• Implement SDLC, change control, compliance, operational procedures, help desk, capacity planning, and system performance. Advise users on upgrades, new functionality, and key decisions. Participate in system governance.
• Establish SLAs and direct resources to achieve business metrics, including developer group utilization, coding quality, system up-time, and end user satisfaction
• Prepare annual budget and manage area of responsibility accordingly
This position is located in Wilmington, Delaware. Relocation will be considered on a case by case basis.
Position Requirements
• 15+ years of experience
• Extensive knowledge of Oracle’s Enterprise Performance Management Suite, including HFM, FDM, Essbase, and BI
• 5+ years experience in financial services industry
• 5+ years experience with financial business processes (accounting, actuarial, risk management, treasury, investment management, tax) from I/T side (required); experience from a business side is a plus
• Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) including development of specifications, test plans, and programming procedures
• Excellent project management and internal customer management skills
• Experience managing external software vendors and system integration consultants
