Job Summary



Develop and implement new high pressure/high temperature processes to advance ultra-hard material performance and technology. Interface with material R&D engineering, press engineering, and manufacturing engineering in order to satisfy the needs of each functional group and work with them concurrently to ensure a united effort.



Job Qualifications



* Strong background in solid mechanics and material science.
* PhD in material science or mechanical engineering preferred.
* Masters level qualification will be considered with appropriate experience (5+ Years).
* FEA modeling experience desired, especially with non-linear materials.
* Should be familiar with commonly used analytical techniques, i.e. XRD, SEM, mass spectroscopy, etc.
* Strong technical writing and presentation ability.
