Job Summary



Design, execution, and analysis of process development experiments and product performance trials; analysis of production data; technical support to manufacturing; process modeling; development and implementation of process control strategies; leading plant trials and process scale-up; identifying and adapting external process technologies; equipment trials; financial estimation; project planning and milestone tracking.



Job Qualifications



* M.S. in Materials Science and Engineering, Ceramic Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering. Preferred Ph.D. equivalent experience.
* Background in ultra-hard materials syntheses, processing, and characterization of high-tech ceramic materials strongly preferred.
* Proven understanding of engineering fundamentals with solid conceptual and analytical skills.
* Relevant industry or R&D experience of 2-5 years dealing in HTHP diamond product processing and/or applications analysis.
* High-energy, self-starter who initiates and drives value-added projects to successful completion.
* Highly motivated and quick learner.
* Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment.
