Description:

We are seeking someone to join our team to assist in the organization of work assignments, training of employees, documentation, and file maintenance in our Central Distibution Center.


Position Highlights:

- Assist in assignment of daily tasks for CDC personnel.
- Complete, correct and file paperwork, as required.
- Monitor CDC area assigned, e.g., picking, packing, manifesting, QRC, product stocking, and/or inventory control.
- Assist in the identification and correction of all errors related to product stocking and shipping.
- Assist in the coordination of all CDC departments with Order Entry, Billing, Production or Administration Departments to resolve customer order problems.
- Provide performance input for the PMD process for CDC personnel as needed.
- Maintain an inventory of raw materials (shipping supplies) and produce an order when deficiencies are found.
- Proficiency in MS Word & Excel preferred.
- The Implementing Recommendations of the 9/11 Commission Act of 2007 mandates 100% screening of cargo at the piece level, originating in the U.S and transported on passenger aircraft, by August 2010. As a result Thermo Fisher Scientific has opted to become a self-screening facility Certified Cargo Screening Facility (CCSF). Part of the screening facility assessment is Security Threat Assessments (STA) qualifications that must be adhered to. Potential new candidates must be able to successfully complete the STA certification.

Skills, Education and Experience Qualifications:


- AA degree in business with 1-2 years related warehouse experience preferred or High School diploma with 2-3 years related warehouse experience.
- Must have the ability to lift 63 pounds from floor to waist when required.
- Requires basic math skill, good organizational abilities and solid communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Word & Excel preferred.
- Successful completion of Security Threat Assessment is mandatory.
