Line of Business: PAYMENT SOLUTIONS Job Category: Pending Categorization Primary Purpose: Develop new relationships with management companies and community associations, retain and expand existing relationships; network with retail branch personnel to increase referrals and cross-selling opportunities to grow deposits, fee income and loans. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other Duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time. 1. Develop new business relationships for Association Services by prospecting and calling on potential clients. 2. Retain and expand existing relationships with clients through frequent contact and introducing additional products and services. Provide quality client service by providing timely and accurate responses and problem resolution. 3. Network and share information with retail branch personnel regarding Association Services products and services; foster strong relationships that will result in mutually beneficial referral opportunities. 4. Complete all required paperwork for new clients and update existing clients; prepare loan packets, complete officer checklists and other reporting requirements. 5. Represent the bank in various civic, community and association functions to enhance BB&T's image and visibility and lead to development of additional business. Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or a related field or equivalent education and related training 2. Three years of banking, community or property management experience 3. Two years of product sales and marketing, relationship and account management experience 4. Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point 5. Excellent written and verbal communications skills 6. Strong interpersonal skills needed for daily contact with clients 7. Ability to establish a banking industry network of clients 8. Superior business development, client relations and decision making skills 9. Excellent time management and organization skills 10. Ability to travel as needed, occasionally overnight
