Job Description: In this position, you will oversee and manage the design activities of the Mechanical Department. You will be responsible for all work produced by the Mechanical Department, relative to schedule, budgets, and quality. Assign projects and tasks to staff consisting of Registered Engineers, Mechanical Designers, and CADD Technicians of various experience levels. Develop manpower forecasts, interview potential Mechanical Department candidates, and assist in hiring Mechanical Department staff. You will be responsible for the development of department standards and procedures, and provide support for business development efforts including proposals.
