Oversee and maintain the company's communication and computer network systems; installation of equipment and software, and troubleshooting. This position is also responsible for identifying systems problems, evaluating solutions and implementing solutions using the appropriate current technologies.

'Maintain the operational reliability of our core business systems. These include MRP/Production System, G/L Accounting System, Payroll System, and Virus Protection
'Responsible for creating and maintaining computer related inventory
'Incumbent is initial phone or email contact person for first-level corrective action involving computer workstation hardware and software problems
'Responsible for tracking and documenting issues and their solutions via the Help Desk functionality
'Troubleshooting and researching problems for internal or external customers
'Responsible for installation of new hardware and software
'Responsible for the installation and maintenance of the electrical/hardware/software of the Kronos Time and Attendance System
'Maintains a current backup and recovery plan in the event of a business disabling disaster
'Troubleshoots telephone and voicemail system issues and contacts appropriate vendors for required services as needed
'Other duties as needed
'This position requires communication with people from all internal departments including Management, Sales, Production, Administration, and Human Resources
'Contact with Heinz Technical Support, Subcontractors, Equipment Dealers and Sales Representatives is inherent with this position

'Bachelors Degree or its equivalent (Computer Science preferable)
'Minimum of 3 years related experience
'Excellent communication skills
'Strong Analytical skills
'Excellent organizational skills
'Demonstrated experience strategically planning changes in Information Systems
'Strong technical background with experience in the types of Hardware and Software used at Heinz Le Center. Intel platform, PC Clients, Win NT/2000 operating systems MS Exchange MS SQL Server, Pervasive SQL database engine, Btreive, Access and Crystal reports
