Overview:

Terex Utilities is a truck equipment final stage manufacturer of digger derricks, aerial devices and associated equipment for the utility industry, municipals, telecommunications, tree and electrical contractor markets.




Responsibilities:

This engineer will be responsible for electrical systems on Utility equipment and for the associated engineering product documentation. Successful candidate will have knowledge of embedded control systems and ability to work with suppliers in order to facilitate updates to existing designs and to produce new designs. Additional responsibilities include wire assembly design and documentation - using AutoCAD and SolidWorks; the set up, performance, and documentation of tests on components and machine systems; and the performance of primary research to gather information for various engineering needs.


Qualifications:

-B.S. in Electrical Engineering.
-Minimum of 4 years design experience.
-Proficient with AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
-Experience with hydraulic/electrical control systems.
-Experience with microprocessor based control systems.
-Systems experience includes overall controls as well as component details.
-Ability to manage complex projects.
-Familiar with, and understanding, of both domestic and international standards.
-Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
-Demonstrated team player qualities.
-Understanding and support of Company policies and procedures.
-Strong orientation towards quality, safety and continuous improvement.
-Commitment to Lean Manufacturing.
