As a Planning Wholesaler, you will become part of PNC Investments, a specialized subsidiary of PNC Bank that provides products and services for individuals interested in investing, college planning, or retirement planning. You also join a retail banking organization with almost 3 million customers, more than 1,000 branch offices throughout the Northeast and Middle Atlantic, and a commitment to leadership in the affluent marketplace. You will manage the financial planning effort for a defined geographic territory through personal visits to establish, maintain and strengthen relationships with Financial Advisors and other internal business partners. You will remain in your element, collaborating with the different lines of business while keeping abreast of industry trends and key competitors.
PNC Investments leadership in your market will depend on your expertise as you will
implement sales and marketing strategies and deliver planning presentations to improve results. Your collaboration with our Financial Advisors allows them to build a stronger business through value-added planning conversations.
Expect to coordinate and develop string partnerships with PNC Investments and other internal interested partners by conducting frequent sales planning seminars, recommending appropriate targets and opportunities within the market.
Territory for this opportunity is the greater Philadelphia/Southern New Jersey/Delaware and Greater Washington areas.
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications :
· Bachelor in Business, Finance, Marketing or Related Field is required.
· FINRA Series 7, 66 (or 63 & 65) and Life/Health are required
· CFP designation is strongly preferred.
· Excellent knowledge of Managed Money and Separately Managed Accounts.
· Expert knowledge of financial planning tools is required, and Sungard experience is preferred.
· At least 3 years of experience actively participating as a fee-based investment consultant is required.
· At least 3 yeast of experience at a financial planner is required.
· Previous external wholesaling experience is required.
· Expert level experience and understanding of financial/investment planning process and knowledge of strategies in areas of retirement planning, education funding, estate planning and insurance planning are required.
· Ability and willingness to travel approximately 50 % of the time.
· Ability to work independently

· Comprehensive knowledge of PNC Advisors products and services and procedures is a plus
