Overview:



Senior developer with significant Siebel Business Analysis experience to develop and maintain a world-class call center and Sales application. This position acts independently to translate business and technical requirements into well engineered and tested siebel application. This includes requirement gathering, analysis, design, testing, deployment and maintenance of the Siebel application. Projects utilize a variety of hardware and software technologies and may include new code construction, modifications to existing siebel modules. Incumbent apply disciplined software development processes and utilize leading edge technologies to engineer and implement the automated solutions to business problems.






Responsibilities:





Provides industry’s best practices in the analysis and development of siebel call center implementation that uses multiple technical platforms like CTI, Web Services, IBM MQSeries, and ETL etc.



He/She needs to work independently with business teams as well as with the development team. Addresses the most complex design and troubleshooting problems in siebel call center application, typically involving siebel integration, data load that has broad business implication for Guardian Life Insurance.



Acts as a solution provider for the project team. Knows how to interpret business requirement and process modeling in order to translate it into siebel technical specification.



Maintains a network of peers in the field to improve ability to solve system problems and identify best practices

* Addresses the most complex design and troubleshooting problems in Siebel implementation, which typically involves real time interface, batch data load, user interface etc.
* Is often called upon to address technical problems, and develop options building proto type to address business problems.
* Building strong partnerships with internal and external clients / collaborate to meet goals and objectives
* Involved in Strategic planning to increase results and grow business
* Understands product life cycles; developing initiatives that apply and implements solutions
* Should be recognized for being creative, innovative, and assertive, with proven performance in leading call center solutions and Sales Management solutions

Project Role

* Provides technical expertise for the most critical and complex problem and/or acts as a key technical advisor to project teams, providing the best approaches and technical insights

Communications Skills

* Participates in business requirement, assists in the development of technical solutions. Translates the most technical information to concepts that are understood by the particular audience, including IT and business leadership. Clearly articulates issues to the business community and ETA for resolution.
* Maintains a network of peers in the field to improve ability to solve system problems, and utilize best practices

Technical Expertise

* Siebel8.x experience preferred.
* Recognized as a technical expert and demonstrates a broad understanding of the Siebel applications with Siebel architectures. He should have exceptional depth in a number of critical technical skills like Siebel real time integration, configuration, workflow, assignment manager, email Response, CTI, batch data load that are key to the success of the Siebel implementation.
* Demonstrates an in-depth knowledge of Siebel. Evaluates the applicability of leading edge technologies and uses this information to significantly influence future releases.



Education and Experience

Education: BA/BS Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent



Experience: Typically candidates in this role will possess 6+ years of Siebel experience
