Overview:

The Graphic Designer will be responsible for providing graphic design and production support services within the fast-growing in-house Shared Services group. The candidate will be part of an experienced team that conceptualizes and delivers creative solutions to fulfill marketing program strategies. This candidate must possess a high degree of proficiency in graphic design for both online and traditional print media. The candidate must be comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment, and must enjoy juggling many concurrent deliverables under tight timeframes.

The Graphic Designer will have the responsibility of managing 1 production artist.


Responsibilities:

Major Opportunities and Decisions:



• Interpret high-level design concepts into graphic designs for all media—online and offline.
• Work effectively with established templates and standards to produce brochures, flyers, graphical e-mails.

• Understand the importance of template based design and assist in the development of template programs.
• Collaborate with creative team to brainstorm new concepts that fit objectives for major programs and campaigns.

Qualifications:

Skills and Knowledge:



• Thorough knowledge of Creative Suite 4, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint
• Understanding of Mac and PC compatibility issues
• A professional demeanor with a high degree of comfort explaining and presenting design concepts
• Positive attitude with an outgoing approachable personality
• Ability to act as a team player as well as be comfortable working independently
• A good work ethic and follow-up skills



Education and Experience:



Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or related field or combination of education and experience



Experience: 4 + years experience in graphic design
