Job Summary:
Performs a variety of administrative/ clerical support, customer service and patient care activities to support the Unit's mission of providing quality health care to each patient and support for their families.
Skills & Abilities:
· Ability to read, write and speak English at a high school level.
· Basic math skills including but not limited to addition, subtraction, and ratios.
· Use of data terminal, personal computer, and all software applications required for the maintenance of supplies and the accuracy of patient data.
· Ability and willingness to provide support to patients, families and visitor, in order to enhance comfort and security.
· Ability and willingness to respond to emergencies and unpredictable situations in a calm manner while exercising good judgement.
· Effective communication and interpersonal/ behavioral skills.
· Customer service orientation, including problem-solving skills.


Qualifications:

Training & Education:
· High School diploma or GED preferred.
CNA, CPR

Experience: Experience in a patient care setting preferred.
