Claims Counsel Duties: Oversee the disposition of all litigated damage cases and provide assistance in the disposition of general liability cases. Assist in the management of third party litigation assigned to outside counsel. Assure fair, timely and cost-effective resolutions of cases. Assist in identifying root causes of actual or potential damage liabilities Assist in developing information and recommendations relative to specific cases, negative trends and other vulnerabilities. Assist in the preparation of the litigation budget; track expenditures: monitor reserves and project budgets. Assist in managing initiatives designed to reduce claims liability. Oversee claims litigation. Conduct pre-trial discovery and legal research. File motions and pleadings. Negotiate settlements and enforce judgments. Represent the Corporation¿s interests at trial.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Risk management or related field and Law Degree and admission to practice law in the State and Federal courts, and 4+ years of related work experience.
