Description:

Performs all aspects of radiologic exams. Knowledge of Radiologic procedures and equipment. Technical skills include computer knowledge and use in obtaining diagnostic images and getting patient information. Performs a variety of technical procedures which will require independent judgment with ingenuity, initiative, and an understanding of the anatomical position to obtain the correct diagnosis. May require medium to light lifting.
Must be able to handle stress levels associated with complex delivery of patient services in a professional manner..
Performs duties and conducts interpersonal relationships in a manner designed to project a positive image of the department and the hospital. Works with the Director and other members of the department to promote a harmonious work environment. Ensures that all contacts with patients, the public, physicians and other hospital personnel are carried out in a friendly, courteous, helpful and considerate manner. Answers telephones promptly and professionally. Shows empathy and provides assistance as needed to callers or in face-to-face situation. Dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers. Works with all to identify problem areas and recommend solutions.
Day Shift.
Qualifications:

Previous X-ray experience preferred
Must be self motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
Florida License (General)
A.R.R.T. Certified
Satisfactory completion of formal Radiologic Technology program
Training in AMA approved school and meets requirements for registry by the ARRT
CPR Certification
