Minimum 5 years experience in Quality supervisory and/or leadership role. Operations background with experience in supervising others and R&D exposure. Must possess effective communication skills, have the ability to influence change initiatives through no formal lines of authority and demonstrate the ability to manage multiple processes and projects with minimal direction. Position Title: Sr. Associate Principal – RD&Q – Boca/RMS Foods Hobbs, NM

General Responsibilities:
As a member of the Production Management Consultant's staff, this position will act as a Research Development and Quality consultant to the RMS management staff working primarily with the Quality Manager and department staff. The core responsibilities are;
• assess the Quality staff and provide a training plan to close gaps
• assess Quality, Sanitation and Food Safety programs and make recommendations to improve
• develop continuous improvement plans for programs, processes, and auditing procedures
• develop tracking mechanisms for compliance and regulatory requirements
• serve as primary resource for all formula, package, specification, and QI projects
• leverage and collaborate closely with suppliers on brand maintenance and new product extensions
• provide linkage between RMS and OM Quality and R&D functions
• provide support to other Boca facilities (Garden Protein & Bellisio)

The QSM Consultant will ensure that:
• plant quality, food safety, sanitation and pest control agendas are established and followed
• products are produced to specification to meet safety, quality and regulatory requirements via system implementation, training and auditing
• issue investigation and resolution procedures are in place to determine root cause and recommend corrective/preventive actions or improvements associated with plant quality, food safety, sanitation and pest control
• all commercialization projects conform to Quality requirements
