Description


The Technical Operations Center responds to customer technical inquiries 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The center responds to issues globally and across all Aerospace products and systems. All team members provide for customer satisfaction and added value to Honeywell by ensuring that the required customer, product, and system support exists for timely issue resolution. This position will be primarily responsible for providing technical support on a variety of electrical products (i.e. Auto Pilots, Communication and Navigation, Collision Avoidance, FMS, Radar, EGPWS, SATCOM, etc.).



Responsibilities will include the following:

*
Responding real time to customer technical inquires via phone and email. Provide direct troubleshooting assistance to customers when required.
*
Routing and escalation of technical issues. Capture and tracking of customer issues through ATLAS. Maintain ownership of technical issue through closure.
*
Manage issue resolution against identified service level goals.
*
Proactively supply technical communications to customers as available.
*
Knowledge capture of technical issue resolutions for re-use.


Qualifications


Basic Qualifications:

*
Bachelor's Degree in business, customer service, operations, or related field preferred.
*
5 years experience in customer service and a Technical Associate's Degree may be substituted in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.
*
Candidate must be a U.S. citizen only.
*
Excellent English communication skills, verbal and written.

Additional Qualifications:

*
Experience in the Aerospace industry is strongly preferred with emphasis on Business General and Aviation type aircraft.
*
Experience with Bendix King type products also preferred.
*
Must demonstrate flexibility and resilience, including the ability to influence others in a time sensitive and demanding environment.
*
Ability to make sound business decisions and take quick actions to execute.
*
Demonstrate strong analytical and problem solving skills.
*
Ability to work collaboratively with multiple Honeywell entities by developing and maintaining effective relationships.
*
Excellent time management and organization skills.
*
Working knowledge of export requirements and/or government regulations is a plus.
*
Ability to effectively handle a wide range of customer's needs and requirements with care and professionalism at all times.
*
Demonstrated ability to work in a changing environment is strongly preferred.
*
Great grasp and passion for customer service.
*
Possess a "privilege to serve" attitude.
