This is an exciting opportunity for a Field Service Specialist, who would be responsible for providing advanced level support for a mill located in Jay, Maine. If you have experience in the Pulp & Paper industry and have worked with QCS, MX Open or Davinci equipment, we want to speak with you!



As a Field Service Specialist you will:

* Perform preventative, corrective and emergency maintenance on customer's QCS equipment - primarily MX Open and Davinci
* Perform static and dynamic testing and calibration to ensure customer sensors are accurate and repeatable.
* Analyze faults and product performance
* Defines the proper actions for problem resolution and performance improvement on a variety of products within a customer environment
* Actively interfaces with customers at all levels.
* Ensures customer satisfaction and demonstrates customer value
* Independently troubleshoot and solve complex system and process related problems
* Maintain all required site and system documentation in a timely manner
* Evaluate and modify MD and CD loops as well as write detailed analysis reports
* Work on call every third weekend
* Support three paper machines on a three person site


Qualifications


Basic Qualifications:



* Technical or Vocational training in: electronics or the pulp and paper industry



Additionally Desired:



* Ability to provide 24x7 customer coverage
* 2 plus years experience with MX open, Davinci or Accuray
* Solid knowledge of Pulp & Paper processes
* Fully capable in Pulp & Paper environments and familiarity with MX Open, Davinci or Accuray and associated sensors including color.
* Machine direction and cross direction experience.
* Fully capable of using available analysis tools to solve complex system or process problems
* Expert ability to design/engineer solutions to prevent recurring problems
* Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills, both written and verbal
* Act as primary point of communications between our customers and Honeywell
* Solid organizational and time management skills
* Demonstrated track record of positive results through the use of problem solving skills
