Sr. Field Service Specialist - HVAC Controls



Job Functions:

* Performs routine maintenance on various types of equipment and improves equipment for the maximum efficiency such as include DDC, control, fire alarm, HVAC, security and access control in a commercial, educational, construction and or retrofit environment
* Repairs minor to complex components to verify that all equipment is running and controlling to the equipments maximum efficiency.
* Performs or assists with engineering, planning, scheduling, and installation of simple to complex systems or modifications to existing systems. May plan, schedule, and lay out complex electrical equipment installations.
* The preceding tasks will apply to DDC, Fire, and Security systems.

Qualifications


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

* 3+ years HVAC DDC and Fire Alarm installation, testing, maintenance and programming experience in a commercial environment
* 2+ years of computer LON / network experience in a business environment
* High School diploma or GED
* Must have Valid driver's license and safe driving record



Preferred Qualifications

* NICET II certification
* Experience with systems that involve advanced solutions such as EBI, Tridium, Echelon, LonMark, and other open technologies for building automation/integration solutions
* HVAC controls technical experience and basic knowledge of mechanical and electronic systems and the wide array of HVAC controls products and Fire & Security systems
* Associates degree in electronics or another technical field
* Ability to provide technical guidance and support on Honeywell products and services with minimal supervision
* Strong organization, time management
