Long Description:
This position requires an active SECRET level security clearance. If you do NOT possess that first requirement please do not apply; you will NOT be selected.*** Our Group, located at Mountain Home AFB, ID, has an opportunity for a Squadron C2 Ops Specialist. The SME will provide Command and Control (C2) staff services in support of Contract Academic Training to include: Assist and advise in the development of operations programs (concepts, objectives, and directives), analysis of performance, changes in tactical doctrine, and/or fielding of new equipment. Advise the Unit Commander/Director of Operations on the conduct of operations, training, and standardization/evaluation programs and Headquarters directives. Update directives by preparing draft changes, revisions, Interim Message Changes (IMCs), and supplements in accordance with Air Force and ACC prescribing directives. Participate in the development, implementation, analysis, and update of operational, evaluation, training and exercises to include planning, coordination, liaison, administration, conduct, briefing, debriefings, and documenting and advise on actions needed to solve training deficiencies. Facilitate and represent the unit at related conferences/workshops. Develop and maintain unit's schedules of events. Accomplish trend analysis and evaluation as described in AFM 36-2234 and AFH 36-2235, Volume 2. Analyze all examination results for trends toward faulty questions and deficient instruction. Review learning objectives and revise stan/eval material to align with current operations training objectives. Make reccomendations to stan/eval products such as Master Question File (MQF), Mission Crew Aids, Performance Evaluation Criteria (PEC), and written tests to reflect operational changes. Revise operations duty position checklists to reflect updated directives and new requirements. Analyze student test question responses resulting in a comprehensive summary of individual, class, and group performance using criterion-referenced and using norm-referenced evaluation methodologies IAW AFMAN 36-2236. Perform post-deployment evaluation of interactive courseware to validate effectiveness. The following are the basic qualifications for this position: (THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS ARE NOT NEGOTIABLE) Associate's degree Must have a minimum of five total years instruction/education experience working as a Tactical Air Control System (TACS) operator. Three years experience with AN/TYQ-23 Modular Control Equipment (MCE) programme (V3 or V5) operations. Four years experience in design, development, and execution of execercises/evaluations. The following are considered assets for this position: Bachelor's degree desired in related field of study. Goup level or higher staff exp. Exp with the conduct of SAVs. Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active Secret level security clearance. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Typical Minimum Education / Experience: 6 Years with Bachelors; 4 Years with Masters Security Clearance Required.
