Job Description This position is for a Change Request Professional within the Change Management Group and will support ADD's strategic initiative for BluePrint for Success to drive economic profitability. Daily tasks include: Authoring and processing changes to the Device Master Record (DMR), including the following document types: MF, GMI, PBOM, CCO, MS, PMS, SCP, PSCP, and STP. Interfacing with multiple different computer systems for scheduling, gathering information and processing of change requests. Working effectively with outside departments to ensure changes are accurate and appropriate. Actively participating in the attainment of department goals. Working effectively with internal team members in making improvements and in due date attainment. Analyzing requests for change and applying scientific, logical thinking to minimize errors and rejection rates. Responsibility for the entire change timeline including closure by preassigned due dates. May require overtime or weekend work to meet change due dates. Responsible to complete all training by required due dates. Will be expected to perform in a manner consistent with the Performance Excellence key competencies: Adaptability, Teamwork, Initiative, Integrity, Innovation. ***PLEASE NOTE THERE ARE MULTIPLE POSITIONS AVAILABLE***
Skills/Experience Requirements Basic Qualifications:
Knowledge of regulations and standards affecting IVDs and Biologics.
Demonstrates knowledge of multiple immunoassays, technologies, clinical utilities and Abbott systems.
Independently analyzes data, evaluates results, forms conclusions, and implements process and/or document improvements. Participates in experimental design and utilizes appropriate experimental techniques, statistical tools and resources to identify solutions.
Recognizes and effectively resolves technical problems to prevent recurrence.
Applies advanced computer and data management skills.
Applies project management skills for several basic projects or a single complex project.
Manages / leads expanded investigation applying six sigma tools for root cause identification. Identifies and implements effective corrective actions to address root cause.
Manages / leads a design control project.
Routinely participates in change control. Understands change control impact on design / validation of products and/or processes.
Applies operations knowledge in timely resolution of product / process technical issues.
Interacts with external customers under general guidance and resolves issues by applying understanding of product clinical utility.
Education Requirements Bachelor's degree with typically 2 years of experience in a related technical discipline
