DIRECTV Home Services is currently seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to join its Sioux Falls, SD team.

The Warehouse Manager oversees the the responsibilities within the warehouse which receive, store, track and distribute material, tools and equipment usually within a single location by performing the following duties:


* Supervises warehouse staff.
* Reviews bills of lading for incoming merchandise and Technician orders in order to plan work activities.
* Verifies incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of merchandise, and keeping of warehouse inventory.
* Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code. Marks materials with identifying information..
* Review technician schedules to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed .
* Fills requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributes items to technicians.
* Records amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
* Uses computer to enter records into database.
* Other duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications


* Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or three years related experience in operations; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Previous warehouse management experience preferred.
* Previous experience managing employees.
* Experience in managing inventory, ordering of equipment, and basic warehouse operations.
* 2+ years of work experience in a highly physical type work environment.
* Basic electronics training and / or mechanical capability.
* Ability to communicate effectively.
* Must be able to lift, carry and handle materials that weigh up to 90 lbs.
* Must have negative pre-employment drug test.
* Criminal and MVR background must meet company hiring criteria.
* Willing and able to work weekends and holidays.
