Long Description:
Provides IT functional and people leadership within Cole Haan IT at a Director level to develop, implement and support technical solutions that enables business priorities.
IT Functional Management (Solution Delivery & Support)

* Acts as a Cole Haan IT Leadership Team (LT) member focused on both short-term (tactical) and long-term (strategic) planning, execution of strategies, with a focus on designing, developing, implementing & supporting technical solutions that meet customer needs and organizational priorities.
* Performs resource planning for team of Business Systems Analysts (BSAs) and Application Engineers (AEs) to ensure supply of resource expertise is properly matched with committed scope and timing of demand for resources.
* Accountable for operational support (KLO) of Cole Haan's application platforms, including incident resolution (break/fix), application maintenance activities and delivering on committed small enhancement requests (SERs). Responsibility delegated to Solution Support Lead.
* Accountable for planning, forecasting and managing Solution Delivery & Support segment of IT budgets (OpEx and CapEx budgets).
* Develops internal and/or external partnerships, including vendor management of service provider partners.
* Sets policy and defines standard operating procedures for area of responsibility.
* Evaluates maturity level of Solution Delivery & Support practices and crafts continuous improvement plan.
* Establish Control Plan & remediation effort for SOX & other compliance programs.

People Management

* Manager is accountable for building, leading and coaching a team of IT professionals, comprised of a Solution Support Lead, Business Systems Analysts (BSAs) and Application Engineers.
* Drives team development, training opportunities and Organizational Talent Planning (OTP) to ensure future growth and to build bench strength.

Qualifications

* College Degree plus minimum 8 years experience in progressively responsible, relevant Information Technology positions, including a minimum of 3 years experience leading functional and technical teams in designing, configuring, developing, testing, deploying and supporting large, enterprise systems and/or custom applications.
* Ability to conduct solution design reviews and contribute to solution architecture reviews and strategic planning.
* Must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills (oral, written and high-profile group presentations).
* Ability to clearly articulate strategic direction, goals and objectives.

Strong understanding and application of managerial concepts and techniques in areas such as coaching, mentoring, resource planning, delegation, staff development, recognition and performance evaluation.
*
Must also have ability to perform capital & operational budgeting, forecasting and analysis.
*
Minimum 1 year experience working with a global outsourcing service provider in the areas of helpdesk or application development or application maintenance. Proven track record of managing vendor performance and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Ability to set direction and vision for implementing a robust set of processes and tools in the domains of environment management, configuration management (SCM) and release management.
*
Ability to successfully collaborate with customers and business partners in a distributed, virtual model.
*
Ability to operate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Ability to embrace and drive a change agenda and demonstrate flexibility in the face of ambiguity.
