The Capital One Auto Finance Tulsa Loss Mitigation family is seeking an Unit Manager with collection management experience. This valued team member will lead, develop and motivate an internal team of 15-25 associates; maintain high levels of morale through change; provide continuous feedback and coaching to improve and maintain high standards of quality customer experience, effectiveness and efficiency metrics; prepare and deliver monthly performance reviews for direct reports; manage business level metrics (pen rates, occupancy) to high efficiency standards; share in the accountability for a business level function team (logistics, quality, innovation, morale).
The successful candidate will work collaboratively and inspire integrative thinking. Our Unit Managers balance leadership with results. They show leadership in an ambiguous environment and maintain integrity. They are directly responsible for associate development, performance, and process management. Our Loss Mitigation team differentiates us from our competitors. Our goal is to prevent loss while treating our customers with respect and have fun doing it!
Responsibilities:
Coach and Develop Associates in manual collections
Project management
Administrative work (E-time, spreadsheets, team meetings, etc...)
Performance reviews and actions (incentives / monthly scorecards / yearly appraisals)
Personal development
Manage up to 25 people
Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
2 years experience in people management
2 years experience in manual collections
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration
5 years experience in people management
2 years experience in process management, LEAN or Six-Sigma
5 years experience in later stage manual collections
2 years experience in managing call center teams
Other Information:
Location – Tulsa, OK
Must be able to work Sun - Thurs PM or Tues - Sat PM schedule.
