Eaton Corporation located in Warwick, RI has an opening for a Quality Manager.


JOB DESCRIPTION:

Directs the development and implementation of the plant's quality management system. Ensures that policies and procedures regarding all aspects of quality assurance and improvement are rigidly adhered to during all manufacturing processes. Develop and implement plans to achieve operation and group quality goals. Ensure compliance to customer quality requirements and acts as principle contact for customer on quality issues. Manage inspection, corrective action, SPC, returned materials, internal audit activity, and other documentation issues as needed for the operations.


EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's degree in a technical area or equivalent with a minimum of five (5) to ten (10) years in Quality or Manufacturing environment.

Six Sigma experience, ASQ Certified Quality Manager Certification or Certified Quality Engineer (or European Equiv.) preferred, and the candidate should have experience with ISO9001, with preference for candidates with AS9100 Aerospace experience.

Experience in the Aerospace Industry with FAA requirements, NADCAP processes, and repair stations compliance will be given preference.

Incumbent must be a proven effective quality leader with exceptional interpersonal skills, demonstrated performance results, and a continual improvement mindset.
Job Qualifications/Educational Requirements Bachelor's degree in a technical area with a minimum of five (5) to ten (10) years in Quality Management.

Must possess a Greenbelt Certification, ASQ Certified Quality Manager Certification or Certified Quality Engineer (or European Equiv.), and must have experience as a Lead QMS Auditor.

Must have a good working knowledge of Quality Management Systems standards.
