JOB SUMMARY:
The Small Business Group (SBG) Account Service Rep - Retention/Open Enrollment Specialist conducts open enrollment and educational meetings for SBG clients in assigned territory. Responsibilities also include renewal strategy development in concert with the SBG Account Manager and Account Executive, direct delivery of renewal quotes to key brokers, and renewal meetings; solution development with key brokers specific to retention/growth of their Health Net book of business; and for following up on questions and resolving issues as needed for renewal or new business.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Conducts open enrollment and other educational meetings for SBG clients in small group settings. May be involved in developing presentation materials.
* Delivers renewal data, quote documents and conducts renewal/retention strategy meetings with key SBG brokers in assigned territories.
* May assist in new sale enrollment activities.
* Follows up on questions and issues for brokers, clients, and other partners in a timely manner.
* Establishes and maintains excellent client, broker and other partner relations.
* Maintains client files and records.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, Business or related field or equivalent experience preferred.
License/Certification:
Valid California Life Agent license required (must be able to obtain within 45 days of hire).
Experience:
Three years work experience in sales and service environment, group health plan or similar experience desirable. Previous experience conducting group meetings preferred.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
* Ability to use sales skills and follow protocols to effectively achieve retention/sales goals.
* Bilingual (English/Spanish) written and verbal communication skills preferred
* Excellent presentation skills and the ability to conduct group meetings.
* Outstanding customer service, listening, and influencing skills, with ability to use good judgment in all interactions.
* Must be detail oriented, with ability to multi-task without losing attention to detail.
* Proficiency with MS Office products and ability to learn new systems quickly.
* Ability to travel regularly in assigned territory and other areas as needed to meet scheduling requirements, which may include early morning, evenings/nights, and weekends.
