The Data/Computer Analyst shall collect, collate, and analyze data in support of the E6B program. SHall also provide the expertise necessary to resolve system and functional related problems and ensure smooth operations related to computer/WECMS systems (hardware and software). The Analyst shall have sufficient knowledge and experience to effectively conduct primary functions and responsibilities and to provide qualitative and quantitative analytical information to appropriate Managers.

Must be able to create SQL queries using multiple data sources with multiple data sources with complex joins. Proficiency configuring ODBC connections. Proficiency in performing data conversion and loading. Source data could be from any number of formats (Excel, Access flat files, other databases).

Responsible for Data Analysis functions. Responsible for the data analysis and summarized reports utilizing WECMS and other data base / spreadsheet software. Prepares management and statistical analysis: provide parts inventory information and ensures summary reports are designed to meet recurring management/fleet needs. Reviews data for significant trends and isolates and identifies areas that need further study or investigation. Assists SRC Manager in preparing and reconciling physical inventories. Analyze data usage and trend information to determine levels of inventory and gives recommendations to program management relative to stocking levels. Responsible for the distribution of government owned assets with other E-6 sites to ensure timely availability and control of aircraft supplies, materials and parts and equipment. Assists the QA department in coordinating activities of other s in the collection of data and maintaining control systems and records to operate an efficient level of inventory of government owned assets. Inputs data in a timely manner for information to be processed electronically. Assists management to successfully perform job tasks and functions when necessary. Must be able to collect data and generate clear, concise specialty reports as requested. Must be able to compute statistics, analyze, separate data and generate reports from available data. Assist Management and work centers in determining specific requirements for new types of data reports necessary to support the mission/fleet. Serves as the E-6B Program's focal point for all WECMS and computer matters. Serves as the E-6B Program's focal point for all NALCOMIS matters. Responsible for all computers/WECMS remote devices, printers, and associated hardware to include inventory, location assignment, maintenance, upgrade, and replacement throughout the program. Serves as the network administrator for the local area network. Ensures computer and software security is enforced. Solves WECMS-related problems beyond the capability of functional users. Coordinates with all affected activities concerning the loading of news releases, special programs and changes. Develops and conducts on the job training for all WECMS users as required. Provide for manual backup data collection, off site proceessing of critical mission support programs, and restart/recovery priorities and procedures. Shall perform other duties as assigned. May be required to perform off-site service on assigned detachments.

Shall have two (2) years experience within the last five (5) years, WECMS Adminstrator and Navy data collections system, NALCOMIS. The analyst must be trained in procedures to include WECMS, NALCOMIS, data processing capabilities, and the techniques of statistical analysis. It is imperative that the Analyst receive the support of the site managers and work center supervisors and the System Analyst completely supports the management team. Extensive knowledge of the data systems procedures, database management procedures, and detecting and correcting WECMS errors and linkage problems is required. A thorough knowledge of the applicable US Navy technical data is required. Must be willing to work day shift or as needed. Must be willing to work with the customer and company employees in a courteous, professional, and effective manner. Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English. Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance.
