Position Profile:Candidates for this position are required to have hands-on experience with EMI testing. This person should be familiar with radiated and conducted emissions and susceptibilities of systems. He/She will write EMI test plans and test reports.
The candidate should also possess understanding of commercial or military standards and EM effects.

Responsibilities:

Job responsibilities include the following:


* Performing EMI testing in an EMI chamber
* Writing test plans for products that will be tested for EMI
* Recording test data according to L-3 processes

* reparing EMC Test Reports and other documents pertaining to EMC test efforts
* Performing test readiness reviews before EMI testing



Education/Experience:


* Requires 5+ years related experience
* Direct EMI testing experience is required for this position.
* Qualified candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance
* Experience with EMI test equipment is required.
* As a member of the EMC team you will perform testing as required with Spectrum Analyzers, LISNs and various antennas, amplifiers and other RF equipment.
* The individual must be able to work from oral and written instructions, be dependable, positive, assertive, a team player and have a strong desire to succeed.
* Candidate must be able to write technical documents clearly and concisely. Must be willing to work overtime and weekends when required.
