Description: ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Qualify new business opportunities to increase revenues by leveraging core competencies. The successful candidate is responsible for making frequent field sales calls on prospective new clients while maintaining strong support ties with current clients assigned to the position.

The primary purpose of this position is to manage the exploration and development of business sales opportunities in both new and current channels of distribution. The achievement of these primary tasks will be accomplished through the skillful management of an assigned team of departmental specialists encompassing the disciplines of Sales, R&D, Process Engineering, Costing, Formulation, Quality Engineering, Purchasing, Package Engineering and Primary Processing. The position demands strong sales, analytical and customer-relationship management skills. The candidate will be called on to conduct, collect and analyze qualitative and quantitative market and consumer research. The ability to develop sales plans, forecasts and other ancillary sales reports designed to provide company insight to the positions opportunity/success ratio is essential.

Base salary $90K to125K and is commensurate with experience

QUALIFICATIONS:

The ideal candidate will possess: BS/BA in business management or the sciences; degree can be offset by 5 years or more of specific industry experience. 3 years recent experience calling on the Food - Drug - Mass classes of trade. Experience selling PL - NBE - OTC Nutraceutical or Pharma type products in the mentioned sales channels. Ability to travel a minimum of 30% of the time or as necessary

It is critical for the candidate to have established contacts with key management personnel in these industries.The individual should have exposure to taking a product from start to finish.

Candidate must be willing to relocate to Utah.
