Investigates serious public liability accidents. Evaluates and adjusts general liability and automobile liability claims against the Company.

1. Conduct investigations of serious public liability accidents.

2. Adjust claims in cooperation with Company personnel and members of the public within delegated authority.

3. Develop proper case reserves through early assessment of liability and damages.

4. Coordinate and collaborate efforts on litigated matters with in-house legal counsel and assist outside legal counsel in the preparation of and response to the litigation process.

5. Maintain internal relationships with operational personnel and management.

6. Assist with public accident investigator training.

7. Complete reports and comply with internal policies and procedures.

8. Demonstrate the highest standards of ethical behavior and support the Company's Corporate Compliance Policy.

9. Assume other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and 3-10 years of direct or equivalent experience in adjusting complex third party/public liability bodily injury and property damage claims.
