Typical Work Hours: Employees are expected to work at least forty (40) hours per calendar week.
Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for managing a deck of 15-20 ‘named’ accounts in the commercial sector. Typically Fortune 1000. Will hunt and farm within these accounts and develop and maintain relationships from the operational through the ‘C’ level.
Accountable for meeting and/or exceeding assigned sales objectives and monthly revenue quotas, maintaining existing and building new revenue within named account base through large complex Voice, Data, Hosting, and IP products and services sales.
Must provide superior customer service on a day to day basis.
Will build and maintain accurate and up to date strategic account plans.
Must be self motivated and self disciplined and provide prompt follow-up to all customer inquiries.
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to present in both small and large group settings. Must have a polished, professional presentation.
Must be able to keep organized, accurate records on daily activities and results. Strong organizational skills imperative.
Will be required to obtain technical certifications.
Acquire and integrate industry knowledge related to general trends, emerging technologies, & competitors.
Partner with customers through a strategic and consultative sales approach to understand their business needs, issues, strategies and priorities to deliver a value-adding business solution.
Manage sales funnel to analyze and manage pipeline activity and monitor sales activity against assigned quotas.
Utilize PowerPoint to develop presentations focused on sales solutions responding to the specific buying needs of the client.
Utilize Excel to create spreadsheets and manage data related to customer accounts and sales funnel management.
Basic Job Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of outside Business to Business technology sales experience in ‘named’ accounts.
Minimum of 3 years in Telecommunications sales or related high tech industry.
Proficiency with the MS Applications Suite of products; Excel and PowerPoint.
Valid Drivers License
PREFERRED Job Qualifications:
8 years years of outside Business to Business technology sales experience in ‘named’ accounts.
Bachelors degree
Familiar with local marketplace, companies and community in geography stated above.
Demonstrated stable track record of success in Sales, with 2-3 years consecutive, successful sales experience within one company within the last 5 years.
