The Retail Operations Manager has overall responsibility for the day to day operation of the unit and reports to the Food Service Director. He/She supervises the subordinate managers, office staff and hourly union employees. The Retail Ops Manager assists in establishing and maintaining systems and procedures, forecasting, controlling costs, generates operation reports. Oversees catering, responsible for ensuring sanitation and safety requirements are met, quality of food and service maintains effective client relations and cordinates grievance meetings as necessary.
Qualifications
Requires a Bachelors Degree (Business Administration or other related fields) with a minimum of three to five years relevant experience. Strong communication skills (both oral and written). Effective presentation skills are also required. Experienced working in a union environment desired.
