One of the thirty properties is the Georgetown University Hotel & Conference Center. We are seeking a Human Resource Coordinator to join our team. As the Human Resource Coordinator you will be responsible for assisting the Human Resources Manager in the day to day operation of the Human Resources Office.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:


* Managing HR files (electronic and hard copy)
* Handling recruitment/on-boarding processes including, screening, scheduling interviews, processing background and reference checks, preparing offer letters and new hire orientation materials.
* Recruiting research, sourcing support as needed, assistance with internal and external job postings.
* Preparing recruiting activity reports.
* Tracking of Vacation/PTO for 135 associates.
* Assist in the coordination of all associates recognition programs.
* Supportive to all hotel-wide training.
* Facilitate any needed communication with associates through various mediums such as but not limited to: bulletin boards, hotel newsletter, flyers and e-mails.
* Answer department telephone, provide administrative support, etc.
* Perform other duties handle and assist projects as assigned by Human Resource Manager. As part of the Human Resources team, you will provide services to associates in a friendly and caring approach.

Qualifications


Requires a high school diploma coupled with a minimum of 2-3 years of administrative experience. Candidate should have two or more years experience supporting a senior level executive. Requires an excellent command of oral and written communication skills. Extensive computer skills required in MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access. HR information, hiring management or performance management system (TALEO), knowledge highly desirable.
