Position Description
Responsible for planning and managing high volume, complex, multi-location facility service operation. Primary level of impact is within own operation. Operations vary in size, but generally have responsibility for all Facility Services. Generally manages 50 - 300 employees. As the Facility Director, you will coordinate the day to day facility operations (maintenance, grounds, and custodial needs). Position is responsible for meeting the Executive Director's objectives, as well as staffing, scheduling, payroll, training and development of hourly staff. You will be required to schedule inspections for machinery and Life safety systems, insure that the service contracts in place are being followed by our contractors, and see that we are following regulations set forth by the government

Key Responsibilities
· Plans, directs and controls all resources to meet operating and financial goals, client objectives and customer needs in a multi unit operation
· Responsible for analyzing all financial reports for as well as reviewing all financial measurements with directors to ensure achievement of financial goals
· Provide guidance and support in developing action plans to address areas requiring improvement and ensures compliance with ARAMARK Standard of Operations in all facility services locations
· Interacts with Client Management and maintains effective client and customer relations at all levels with client organization
· Interfaces with Regional Vice President, District Manager, Unit Directors and their staff. Collaborates with managers of other units with in own division
· Ensures administration of HR policies and interprets and ensures compliance with company policies such as safety, sanitation and purchasing
· Oversees staffing, development of personnel, training and education
· Develops operational component forecasts and is able to explain variances
· Defines positions and roles for/of organization structure

Qualifications
Ideal candidate will possess a BA degree in Engineering, Facility Services or Business Management or related field with a minimum of 5 years multi unit operations experience. A minimum of 2 years primary financial accountability with a direct reporting relationship to clients and senior executives is required. HVAC and engineering systems experience is required. Proven track record of developing and implementing tools to increase top and bottom line as well as strong communication skills. Previous experience in a college setting with union experience is preferable.
